Andy and Debbie Upham

with their children Ryan and Megan

Debbie passed over into the Church Triumphant Sunday, May 18.

Ways you can help the Upham Family

Celebrate Debbie’s Life

You can send messages of comfort and thanksgiving to office@frontyardchurch.org and we will print them out for the Upham family.

The family asks that you make memorial gifts to Coyote Hill, www.coyotehill.com.

Volunteer at Coyote Hill

Andy is a social worker at Coyote Hill,

which is graciously providing him with time to be with Debbie and the children

You can help fill some of the “gap” by:

+ volunteering at Coyote Hill (call -- there are lots of ways to help!)

+ making a donation in memory of Debbie directly to Coyote Hill (monthly pledge or one time gift)

These gifts, because they are received by Coyote Hill (a not-for-profit organization)

and because they are not designated for a particular person to benefit, are considered tax-deductible by the IRS

Be a Friend

Several persons have found their own ways to help the Uphams

which have included cleaning out flower beds at their home, planting new flowers,

running errands, providing play dates for the children,

calling to chat, visiting, sending cards and balloons --

all the “little things” that make up quality of life together!

Make a donation, and perhaps get a quilt in return

Alice Spurgeon and Dodie Rathke, quilters

Jennifer Burpo won the quilt at the June 22 drawing!

Wear a Wristband

The church has pink silicone wristbands that remind us to “Pray for Debbie”

A suggested donation is $5 for each, but you can always give more!

Please write your checks for wristbands, Guitar Hero competition, Quilt, and other donations payable to

Fairview United Methodist Church, indicating on the memo line that this is for the Uphams.

According to IRS guidelines, these gifts are not considered tax-deductible

but they also do not create any tax liability for the Uphams when they receive these gifts of love!
