Fairview’s Sunday Morning “Breakfast Club” Starts New Study
You are welcome to
join Fairview’s
Sunday Morning “Breakfast Club” as it starts its new study on the Ten
Commandments. This Adult Sunday School
group is made up of folks that typically have multiple commitments on their
time. As a result, they get together to
study a short bible lesson, eat a donut and coffee breakfast they
didn’t get that morning, and share in their lives. It’s the perfect class for the
“I-don’t-have-time” or the “on-the-go” Christian that is missing the
accountability that others can provide in their Christian walk. Missing a week won’t leave you lost in the
study – it only makes you want to come back to learn what’s happening in your
group’s lives. Other than a commitment
to pray for one another, there is no preparation time needed for this group.
The Breakfast Club
meets in the Multipurpose Room kitchen on Sunday mornings from 9:50 to 10:45.
Class Leader: Ewell Lawson
The group will be
studying the following video-based series over the next five weeks:
The Ten
Volume 1: Commandments 1 - 5
experience a new look at an ancient message on how to live life

Freeway
10 runs through the center of Los
Angeles - ten lanes wide and packed with cars. And
behind each set of brake lights lies a story. In The Ten we follow the lives of
five different drivers, each one living out one of God's Commandments on the
streets of the City of Angeles.
Through the characters lives you will see the same debris of the past and
future road blocks that we all face. Through the characters lives you will see
the Ten Commandments are more than just a list of restrictions ... they are a
road to a better life!
The Ten focuses on the Ten Commandments and consists
of five short films, with each short film followed by teaching based on a
single commandment. Each short film is 10 minutes, or less, in length. The
study moves the viewer into reading God’s Word and pondering questions that
lead to true discovery.
